PRIVATE TOUR

DAY 1 - Arrival to Hito Cajon frontier/ Green and White Lagoons/ Dali Desert/ Polques/ Sol de Mañana Geysers/ Colorada Lagoon/ Stone Tree

07:30 am Pick up from hotel, private transport to the Hito Cajon Chile-Bolivia border.

09:30 am (Bolivian time) Pick up from Hito Cajon border Bolivian side with Spanish-speaking guide - driver This first day we will visit the Bolivian highlands where you can visit places such as the Green Lagoon and White Lagoon, located at the foot of the Licancabur volcano, Dali Desert (named for its resemblance to the surrealist paintings of Salvador Dalí, this desert offers an impressive view with its combination of colors and unique shapes), then you will have the opportunity to take a bath in the hot springs in Polques at a temperature of 35 C°.

The Sol de Mañana Geysers are at an altitude of (5,000 masl) and walk along fumaroles and smoking craters full of boiling mud at 150 - 200 Cº, we visit the viewpoint of the Colorada Lagoon to see three species of flamingos in their natural habitat and admire this lake of intense red color at an altitude of 4,300 masl it will also be possible to see Andean flora and fauna, the next stop will be the Stone Tree. Arriving at the Siloli Desert we head to our lodging for dinner and spend the night in the community of Polques.

DAY 2 – Lipez Desert/ Minor Lagoons/ Ollague Volcano Viewpoint/ Chiguana Salt Flat Breakfast at the hotel.

Departure to continue the expedition to the Lipez Desert, highland lagoons of Cañapa, Hedionda, Charkota and Onda, home to a varied fauna of birds and flamingos.

Lunch on route. Later we will visit the viewpoint of the Ollagüe volcano, one of the highest and most unusual active volcanoes in the world, our last expedition will be to cross the Chiguana Salt Flat. Arrival at the town of Uyuni.

DAY 3 – Uyuni Salt Flat Full Day Breakfast at lodging.

10:00 am start our tour, the first place to visit will be the Train Cemetery and then we will continue to the town of Colchani, home of expert salt processing artisans. Here we can learn more about the extraction process to make it edible. We will head into the Uyuni salt flat to learn more about the extraction areas and the Incahuasi island” home of giant candelabro cacti and at the end of the afternoon we find the best place to appreciate a beautiful sunset on the Salt Flat. Finally, we head to our lodging in Uyuni.
